SCHEDULED GROOMING APPOINTMENTS

Our salon is by appointment only. While we do our best to maintain regular weekly hours, vacations and holidays do happen that may alter our availability. We recommend keeping your pets on a 4-6 week grooming schedule to help keep your pets healthy and comfortable as possible year round. All appointments are first come first served.

Pet drop off is expected at scheduled appointment start time. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY ENOUGH TO WALK YOUR PETS AND ALLOW THEM SUFFICIENT TIME TO POTTY BEFORE ENTERING THE SALON. Failure to do so may result in additional fees for extra cleaning and sanitizing if your pet continues to urinate/defecate in the salon.

If you are more than 15 minutes late, there may be an extra fee for that appointment. Being 20 or more minutes late to your appointment may result in cancellation of the appointment by the groomer and a resulting No Show fee.

The appointment duration window is an APPROXIMATE grooming timeline, and we ask that you wait to return until you have been contacted by the salon with a specific return time.

For the safety of our staff and the animals being groomed, please do not interrupt the appointment by returning early. An excited and hyper pet can be dangerous to continue working on if behavior escalates, and doing so may require the groomer to stop service

before the groom is completed. In this circumstance, the pet will be sent home as is, and full payment of service will still be required.

Upon notification that your pet is ready for pickup, we request that you return for your pet within 90 minutes. Failure to retrieve your pet within this timeline may result in the client being charged an additional fee for extended care. Any early drop off or late pickup requests must be arranged with salon staff prior to the appointment. Should the owner not respond or pick up the pet by salon closing, staff will contact a nearby boarding facility for overnight accommodations at the owner's expense.

All payments are due at the time of service. We gladly accept cash or credit card. Grooming prices may vary between visits. Pets with more than 8 weeks of coat growth or severely matted coats are subject to additional fees. Prices do not include gratuity or New York State sales tax. New York State sales tax will be added to the grooming price for the appointment total.

CANCELLATIONS & NO SHOW POLICY

At Bark & Style Grooming LLC, we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise that may cause you to miss a scheduled appointment. However, we kindly require that you notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to accommodate other clients who may be waiting for an opening.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE RESPECT YOUR TIME AND EXPECT THE SAME IN RETURN.

If you cancel/reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of your full scheduled service price.

If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment and or cancel/reschedule with

less than 24 hours' notice, we reserve the right to charge a no-show fee of 100%

of your full scheduled service price.

(Fees will be applied to your next appointment)

We understand that emergencies and unexpected events can happen, and we will always try to accommodate your schedule to the best of our ability. However, frequent no-shows or late cancellations may result in the loss of appointment privileges, and prepayment may be required for future appointments. We value your business and appreciate your understanding of our cancellation and no show policy.

VACCINATIONS, HEALTH & BEHAVIOR

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER TO PROVIDE

A HEALTHY AND GROOMABLE PET.

Unsatisfactory behavior will determine whether a pet is safe to provide services, and that determination will be made by the salon staff. Please understand that an unmanageable pet can pose serious danger to both themselves and salon staff.

Excessively aggressive pets are NOT accepted.

Pets who exhibit extreme behaviors such as continuously struggling, biting, urinating, or defecating during the grooming process will be returned to the owner as is.

Full payment is due upon return of the pet to the owner.

NEW YORK STATE LAW REQUIRES YOUR PET TO BE CURRENT ON RABIES VACCINATIONS. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE CURRENT

DOCUMENTATION OF VACCINATIONS.

Injuries resulting from a bite will be reported to the

Monroe County Health Department and Monroe County Animal Services.

The owner of a biting pet will be responsible for payment of services and any and all

medical bills and treatments incurred by and Bark & Style employee injured,

in accordance with New York State law.

Pets must be healthy and able to stand up on their own during the grooming process.

In the event of a medical emergency, salon staff reserves the right to seek immediate, professional veterinary care from the nearest animal hospital at the owner's expense.

PET HEALTH RELATED TO SKIN & COAT

Owners are responsible for keeping their pet flea and tick free. If we notice parasites, and need to treat for them, extra fees will apply for the bathing of the pet plus the sanitization of the salon as well. The owner will also be notified so they can treat appropriate bedding, as well as their yard. PETS WITH KNOWN FLEA INFESTATIONS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ONTO PREMISES WITHOUT PRIOR PARASITE TREATMENT.

If your pet is matted, every effort will be made to protect their skin and coat during hair removal (or hair cut). The skin may become sensitive and may incur clipper marks, abrasions, cuts, rashes, nicks, itchiness, redness and/or irritation where matting is severe. In some cases, the entire skin surface may become sensitive due to the shock of removing severely matted hair. Matting removed from the ears can cause hematomas (bruising and swelling of blood) at the tips of the ears. The owner understands and accepts that grooming a matted pet involves inherent risks and assumes all responsibility for any resulting injury or condition. The owner agrees to release and hold harmless Bark & Style Grooming LLC from any and all claims arising from the grooming of a matted pet.

Thank you for choosing Bark & Style for your pet's grooming needs!
